digestive issues, insomnia, and stress. Using points along the meridians, we aim to bring
balance to the body in order to negate symptoms. It is best explained in Western medicine
terms as using needles to create small trauma points. These trauma points send signals to the
body to let it know that there is something wrong in that area which in turn, helps the body
heal itself and speed up recovery.

Winters love for osteopathy began in 2016! When she was first introduced to osteopathic therapy following a sports related injury, she was getting treated by a graduate and quickly realized it was improving her injuries, as she continued getting treatment she became more interested in how osteopathy was helping the body and was eager to learn more!

Winter started her osteopathic education at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO) in the spring of 2018, where she studied principle based classical osteopathy which has helped her gain a very strong understanding of functional anatomy, human physiology and osteopathic collective mechanics.

Winter graduated from the CAO in September 2022 and opened her business Harmony Wellness Osteopathy shortly after, she is currently practicing out of the Bracebridge and Huntsville area! Winter is dedicated to providing outstanding treatment to her patients and committed to finding the root cause of the problem to improve overall health opposed to treating the presentation of symptomology.
